Digital Finance Specialist
A large insurer based in London are looking for a qualified accountant to drive the transformation of the finance and actuarial function by identifying, designing and delivering solutions that automate manual work, improve data quality and enhance existing tools.
Responsibilities
- Identify automation and improvement opportunities across finance and actuarial processes
- Scope, design, build and test new solutions using the latest tools and best practices
- Support the transition of new solutions into production via stakeholder comms, training and support model development
- Partner with IT to explore and onboard software that improves how the function operates
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support transformation projects end to end
- Leverage existing group solutions (e.g. Digital Finance Platform) for local group implementation
Knowledge and Skills
- Finance or actuarial background
- General insurance experience (preferred but not essential)
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot
- Experience with data prep tools such as Alteryx or Power Query
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
