Director of Commercial Product Management – Fraud
Director of Commercial Product Management – Fraud
UK | Hybrid / Flexible
We are partnering with a high-growth technology business operating at the forefront of banking fraud prevention and payments to appoint a Director of Commercial Product Management.
This is a senior, highly visible role sitting at the intersection of Product, Technology, Sales, Solution Consulting, Marketing and Customer Success.
The business is entering an exciting phase of investment and product innovation, with a growing portfolio of new fraud capabilities being brought to market. They are looking for someone who can take complex fraud technology and turn it into compelling customer propositions, validated use cases and commercially successful product launches.
This isn't a traditional Product Director role focused on owning individual roadmaps. Instead, you'll provide the commercial product leadership that connects customer problems, fraud expertise, Product and GTM execution.
What you'll be doing
You'll work across a portfolio of fraud products to ensure new capabilities are commercially viable, properly validated and successfully taken to market.
Responsibilities will include:
- Translating complex fraud capabilities into clear customer value propositions, use cases and commercial narratives.
- Working directly with banks and financial institutions to understand emerging fraud challenges, operational pain points and market requirements.
- Leading Proof of Concept, Proof of Value, pilot and early-adopter programmes, defining success criteria and turning results into credible customer proof points.
- Partnering with Product and Technology teams to influence portfolio priorities based on customer need, fraud trends and commercial opportunity.
- Working closely with Sales and Solution Consulting to create demo narratives, playbooks, objection handling, competitive positioning and field enablement.
- Supporting decisions around product positioning, packaging and pricing.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams through the full product commercialisation lifecycle, from development through launch and customer adoption.
- Presenting recommendations and commercial strategy to senior and C-suite stakeholders.
The role has been created to provide the dedicated cross-functional leadership needed to move new products from development through launch and adoption.
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in people who combine deep fraud-domain knowledge with strong commercial product experience.
You'll ideally bring:
- Significant experience within banking fraud, payment fraud or fraud technology, gained within a bank, card issuer, payment processor, fintech or fraud technology provider.
- Strong understanding of real-world fraud typologies, fraud operations and the challenges faced by financial institutions.
- The credibility to engage directly with senior fraud leaders and executive customers.
- A proven track record of commercialising complex enterprise technology products.
- Hands-on ownership of PoCs, PoVs, pilots or early-adopter programmes.
- Experience developing customer propositions, commercial narratives and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong experience partnering with Sales, Solution Consulting and Product.
- The ability to influence multiple Product teams and senior stakeholders without necessarily owning each individual product roadmap.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate technical capability into measurable customer and business value.
Why this opportunity?
The organisation is at an important point in its growth. With increased investment and a portfolio of new products being developed, the challenge is no longer simply building great technology — it's ensuring those products solve genuine fraud problems, reach the right customers and generate measurable commercial growth.
You'll have the opportunity to shape how new fraud products are validated, positioned, commercialised and launched, while working with senior leaders across Product, Technology and GTM.
If you've spent your career in fraud and enjoy the commercial side of Product — understanding customers, validating propositions and turning technology into successful products — we'd be keen to speak with you.
