The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
The Ecommerce Trading Manager is responsible for driving online sales, conversion, and profitability across Le Creuset's direct to consumer websites. This role will lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of the regional trading calendar, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience while delivering commercial targets.
Working closely with Digital Marketing, Category Merchandising and Digital Operations teams, the Ecommerce Trading Manager will identify growth opportunities and optimise site performance to maximise revenue and customer engagement.
Reporting into the Head of Commercial Ecommerce Europe and supported by a cluster level Ecommerce Trading Associate that reports into this role.

Commercial Trading & Performance
- Own the day-to-day trading performance of ecommerce for the cluster of markets to hit monthly budget targets.
- Optimise local websites to drive profitable revenue with a focus on conversion, average order value and margins.
- Build yearly revenue ambitions using structured commercial building blocks, while actively mapping potential risks and growth opportunities.
- Execute the regional promotion and trading calendar in line with local priorities, feeding key insights into wider team including Category Merchandising.
- Establish regular trade governance by delivering weekly and monthly trading insights, making recommendations and implementing actions to improve commercial performance.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Category Merchandising to forecast, monitor sell through and capture additional demand opportunity or potential stock use initiatives.
- Oversee digital site merchandising, activating product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotion with stock availability.
- Enhance onsite product discovery by continually monitoring and adjusting search functionality, filters, navigation bars and product landing pages.
- Partner with digital marketing to align customer acquisition channels with onsite activation to streamline user journeys, limit drop off and prioritise conversion.
- Champion continuous improvement using Google Analytics, PowerBi (and some markets Content Square) to monitor user behaviour and fix performance leaks.
- Partner with Head of Commercial Ecommerce and champion local data to improve website functionality.
- Partner with Ecommerce Operations to drive website functionality, health, and experience satisfaction.
- Assist in briefing of localized content asset to guide digital assets and onsite merchandising.
Essential Ingredients
- 4+ years experience in ecommerce or digital trading and merchandising.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience trading a consumer retail or premium lifestyle brand.
- Comprehensive analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights with experience using Google Analytics and other data visualisation tools.
- Experience in ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento or similar.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience with premium homeware, kitchenware, lifestyle or luxury retail.
- Knowledge of CRO tools and testing methodologies.
- Understanding of digital acquisition channels and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Enthusiasm and curious to learn, up for bringing ideas to the table.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Strong communicator, working well autonomously and as part of a global team.
- Proactive and curious, working efficiently to drive most business value.
