NSL is currently recruiting for a DVLA Enforcement Officer to join our team in Reading. This is an active, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role in helping the DVLA identify and enforce action against untaxed vehicles on public highways.
About the role:
As a DVLA Enforcement Officer, you'll play a vital role in identifying and enforcing action against untaxed vehicles on public roads. Working from daily operational briefings, you'll drive a specialist ANPR vehicle to locate untaxed vehicles and take appropriate enforcement action, including clamping vehicles, collecting photographic evidence, and completing reports using a tablet device.
You'll regularly interact with members of the public and work alongside agencies including the Police, DVLA and DVSA, always delivering a professional and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ANPR vehicles to identify untaxed vehicles
- Carry out vehicle clamping and de-clamping activities
- Complete enforcement documentation and photographic evidence
- Conduct vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintain accurate daily activity records
- Provide advice and information to members of the public
- Work with partner agencies when required
- Maintain company equipment and report defects
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
What we are looking for?
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to deal confidently with people in challenging situations
- Previous customer service experience
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic IT skills
- Familiarity with the Vehicle and Excise Registration Act ( VERA ) 1994
