Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Trent. The English Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that support learners at varying levels and abilities. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, setting and marking assignments, tracking student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will create a supportive classroom environment, manage behavior in line with centre policies, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues, attending staff meetings and training, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to curriculum development.
Qualifications
  • Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering lessons to diverse learner groups.
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum development to meet defined learning outcomes.
  • Solid foundation in Education principles, including assessment, differentiation, and learner support.
  • Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with students and colleagues.
  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, TEFL/TESOL, or equivalent) and a degree in English or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with adult learners or learners needing additional support is an advantage.
  • Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and creating an inclusive learning environment.
