The Trauma & Orthopaedic department at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) delivers care to adult patients and the service is transforming in response to the needs of our community. Our team are always developing to be able to deliver safe, effective and patient centred care.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, highly motivated and passionate Enhanced Clinical Practitioner with excellent communication skills to take on the role of Enhanced Clinical Practitioner in the Trauma Assessment & Coordination Team (TAC team).
Working with the already established team we are seeking to recruit someone with the commitment to help us provide, develop and maintain a high quality service for patients their relatives and carers visiting the department.
The successful candidate will have previous trauma, orthopaedic and / or orthogeriatric (frailty) experience and meet the criteria of the job description and personal specification. We will also consider someone who is already on the ECP pathway.
Please note: Elective orthopaedics is currently based at Bournemouth hospital with plans to move to Poole Hospital as part of the restructuring of services across UHD and vice versa for Trauma. Staff recruited are expected to be available to work flexibly across both Trust locations to meet service demands.

If a role or service relocates as part of a planned move, excess mileage will not be reimbursed. Travel from home to the new work base will be classed as a normal commute. Any other changes will be managed under Trust or national terms and conditions.
