Execution Trader – Hedge Fund (new office launch) – Large base + 100% bonus potential
A highly successful, multi-billion dollar AUM global hedge fund is looking to hire an Execution Trader for their newly established London office.
The hire will be the sole London based trader, supporting a high profile portfolio manager and an investment analyst that were recently hired. The core responsibility will be execution across global arbitrage strategies - the hire must be comfortable being available to work the US market close daily (9pm).
Whilst investment decisions will sit with the Portfolio Managers, we are looking for an individual with strong execution judgement who can exercise discretion around levels, timing and implementation.
We are deliberately open-minded on level. Candidates could be relatively junior traders looking for significantly greater responsibility and autonomy, or more experienced execution traders attracted to joining a smaller, highly successful investment business. We are open to product / strategy background.
Rather than set a specific base salary banding, our client is committed to providing the successful hire with an attractive step up on his / her current base salary. Execution traders at the firm in other offices, performing to a high standard, receive 100% bonuses.
