We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician to support the delivery of statutory, compliance and general maintenance checks across the site. The successful candidate will help ensure the ongoing upkeep, safety and high standards of the factory and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently gained a relevant qualification and is looking to develop their career in a maintenance role. If you have a good understanding of general maintenance and a proactive approach, we would love to hear from you.
This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

- Essential Computer literate
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

- Self motivated and enthusiastic with ability to meet deadlines.
- Be a team player working with others to achieve company goals.
- Responsible for conducting Solar Energy Reading on a daily basis
- Responsible for conducting the following Weekly Tests & Checks: Fire Alarm Tests, Spark Detection, Sprinkler Pumps, Energy readings Olfactory Checks, Water Flushing Checks, Water Temperature Checks, Hour Run Readings and ensure that all are recorded in a timely an accurate manner on SAP
- Responsible for conducting the following Monthly Tests and Checks: Ladder Checks, Fire Extinguisher Checks, Fire Door Checks and ensuring that all are recorded in a timely accurate manner on SAP
- Perform any immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain a clean safe facility
- Responsible for stores upkeep and stock takes
- Responsible for parts retrieval and tracking
- Responsible for Saw Blade tracking
- Ensure the general upkeep of the plant by undertaking minor repairs, general laboring tasks, general housekeeping and painting tasks as and when required (basic plumbing, electric, woodwork repairs)
- Able to work at heights (reaching aircon units, roof guttering, etc.)
- Assist other departments as requested to ensure company objectives are obtained
- Tasks may require flexible working hours
- Undertake any reasonable request as directed by management
- Support the business in line with its ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification.
