A high-end London hospitality business is looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team. This is a premium, private equity-backed business with multiple sites across the capital and an ambitious growth journey underway.


The environment is polished, fast-moving and service-led, with a blend of hospitality, workspace and events revenue streams. The role sits within a lean finance team, so they need someone dependable, experienced across the transactional finance piece, and comfortable taking ownership of the day-to-day.


They are looking for someone who can come in and provide safe hands across the ledger, with particular focus around credit control and accounts payable. It would suit someone who enjoys breadth in a role rather than doing one narrow task, and who is happy working as part of a business where finance needs to be responsive, organised and on top of the detail.


What will you be doing?

  • Managing credit control activity and driving timely collection of outstanding debt
  • Supporting accounts payable processing and day-to-day purchase ledger work
  • Handling broad transactional finance responsibilities across both AP and AR
  • Working in Xero and keeping finance data accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day finance administration and processing
  • Helping maintain a smooth and well-organised finance function across a multi-site business


What would we love to see from you?

  • Experience across transactional finance, with exposure to both accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Strong credit control capability
  • Previous experience using Xero
  • A reliable, steady approach - someone who gets on with the job and does it well
  • Breadth of experience across day-to-day finance operations
  • Hospitality, members’ club, hotel, workspace or similar experience useful, but not essential


Location: Central London (3 days in office)

Working pattern: Full time OR part-time applicants considered

Salary: up to £35,000 full-time; negotiable for part time FTE salary
