Salary - £75,000 + Bonus


Overview

This role sits at the centre of a dynamic, PE-backed consultancy as it continues to scale internationally. The business is focused on driving commercial performance and value creation, supported by a high-performing finance function that partners closely with operational and regional leaders.


Role summary

The Finance Analyst will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making. The position offers broad exposure across global operations, with responsibility for understanding key performance drivers, improving visibility of financial data, and supporting commercial initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of monthly management accounts, including P&L reporting, variance analysis and KPI tracking
  • Provide clear, board-level commentary on financial performance versus budget and forecast
  • Analyse key drivers of revenue, gross margin and delivery costs across the business
  • Produce detailed project-level profitability analysis, including utilisation, pricing and cost mix
  • Partner with regional and delivery leadership teams to improve commercial performance
  • Support forecasting, budgeting and long-term financial planning activities
  • Contribute to pricing decisions and commercial strategy across clients and regions
  • Develop financial models, reporting packs and dashboards to enhance insight and decision-making


To Be Suitable

  • Strong academic background in Finance, Economics or a related discipline [ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or part-qualified)
  • Experience in financial analysis, management reporting and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience within a consultancy or project-based environment is advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into insight
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills, including exposure to senior leadership
