What your day will look like

Mission

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team, supporting group-wide performance reporting, financial planning and business decision-making. This role plays a key part in helping Finance and business leaders understand performance by turning financial and operational data into clear insights, robust analysis and meaningful reporting.

You will produce high-quality reporting and dashboards, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, develop financial models, and deliver analysis that helps explain business performance and informs strategic decisions.

This role reports into Corporate FP&A Lead.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting and Performance Insights

  • Produce accurate and insightful monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting, providing clear commentary on key performance drivers, variances and emerging trends. 
  • Build, maintain and continuously improve reporting, dashboards and KPIs that provide the business with clear visibility of financial and commercial performance. 
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating data into meaningful commercial insights and actionable recommendations. 
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to understand performance, investigate cost and revenue drivers, and provide financial support for operational decision-making. 

Financial Analysis

  • Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, business cases and strategic decision-making. 
  • Perform scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business performance, test assumptions and support investment and strategic decisions. 

Process excellence, automation & data integrity

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning and forecasting processes, implementing enhancements to systems, models and data quality to increase efficiency and insight.

What you need to fulfill the role

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent with post qualification experience
  • Previous experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar analytical role in high growth tech environments, investment banking, or corporate finance
  • Proven experience in SaaS business models and metrics
  • Advanced financial modelling skills: P&L, cash flow, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and business case modelling
  • Strong understanding of core finance concepts, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, accruals and financial reporting.
  • High proficiency with financial systems and data
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented; able to navigate complex datasets and reconcile to source-of-truth systems
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to present complex analysis concisely
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset; thrives in ambiguity and builds structure in fast-moving environments

Nice to have

  • Experience working in PE-backed businesses and comfort operating in investor-grade cadence and scrutiny
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, fintech or other high-growth business.
  • Experience using BI and data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL
  • Exposure to FP&A platforms such as Pigment
  • Experience partnering with data or engineering teams to improve reporting and data quality.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and an interest in using technology to improve analysis and reporting
