The Role


We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, performance reporting, and insight-driven decision making across the business. This role plays a key part in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and stakeholder engagement, providing clear analysis and actionable insights to drive performance.


This is a hybrid role where the successful candidate will be required to work from our Leeds office at least twice a week.



Key Responsibilities


  • Support the preparation, coordination and reporting of the annual budget and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes
  • Support in the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness
  • Deliver variance analysis with clear commentary, highlighting key drivers of business performance and supporting informed decision making
  • Support monthly KPI reviews with stakeholders across the business
  • Maintain, enhance and continuously improve financial models and planning tools to meet evolving business needs and respond to RFIs in a timely manner
  • Partner with stakeholders across functions to provide financial insight and support strategic and operational decisions
  • Respond to ad-hoc financial queries from the wider business
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of reporting through the use of financial reporting tools
  • Update Power BI reports for the finance team and wider business, improving visibility and accessibility of financial information



About You


  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Previous experience in management accounting or FP&A
  • Confident in variance analysis and translating numbers into clear, meaningful insights
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable handling multiple priorities and ad-hoc requests
  • A continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and strong analytical capability
