Full Stack Engineer

London Area, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 59 minutes ago

Full-Stack Developer

£60,000 – £80,000 | Hybrid – London

We’re working with a well-established, global healthcare and diagnostics organisation that is undergoing an exciting digital transformation. They are building a new digital product that will fundamentally change how healthcare professionals interact with laboratory services.

The product is a sophisticated, customer-facing web application designed to become the single digital platform for clients — bringing together test ordering, results, reporting, invoicing, courier management, patient communications and more into one seamless experience.

The first version of the platform is currently being developed by a leading digital agency, with the internal product and engineering team taking ownership as it moves into its next phase of growth.

This is an opportunity to join early and play a key role in shaping both the product and the engineering practices around it.

The Role

As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be one of the key hands-on engineers responsible for developing and continuously improving the platform.

You’ll work across both frontend and backend development, building integrations with a range of internal systems and external partners while ensuring large volumes of complex data are presented through a clean, intuitive user experience.

You’ll have significant scope to influence the technical direction of the product, working in an agile, product-led environment where new features are released incrementally and continuously improved based on user feedback.

What you’ll be working with

  • React – developing high-quality, customer-facing interfaces
  • Node.js – backend and API development
  • C# / .NET / ASP – working across existing backend services
  • Azure & Azure DevOps – cloud infrastructure and development lifecycle
  • Microsoft SQL & Azure SQL
  • REST APIs, webhooks and SFTP integrations
  • High-volume transactional and business data
  • API-first / headless architecture
  • Integrations across multiple internal and external platforms

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who enjoys building real products used by customers, rather than purely internal applications.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • Strong React development skills
  • Node.js and API development
  • C#/.NET backend development
  • Azure and Azure DevOps
  • SQL / Azure SQL
  • Building and consuming APIs and integrating multiple systems
  • Working with large volumes of transactional data
  • Developing secure, scalable applications
  • Creating polished, intuitive user experiences

Experience within financial services, healthcare or another data-intensive environment would be advantageous, particularly where you have worked with complex transactional data.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with strong product and engineering instincts — someone who cares about how software looks and feels as well as how it works, and who can point to products they have helped build and deliver into the real world.

Why join?

  • Join at an early stage of a major digital product transformation
  • Help shape the technical direction of a new customer-facing platform
  • Work on a product handling significant volumes of complex data
  • Genuine opportunity to influence engineering practices and ways of working
  • Product-led, agile environment with continuous delivery
  • Hybrid working, with typically 2-3 days per week in the London office
  • Work within a large, established and financially stable global organisation
  • Opportunity to grow alongside the product and wider digital function

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000

If you're a Full-Stack Developer looking for the opportunity to build something genuinely impactful from an early stage, this could be a great next step.
