Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Functional Consultant - Marketing & DX/CX who will lead the end-to-end product portfolio and supporting solutions across REU. The role defines product vision, strategy, roadmaps and priorities aligned to business outcomes, while ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, compliant and fit for purpose.

Working with business and IT stakeholders, the role translates demand into a prioritised backlog and oversees delivery through to adoption. It governs the solution landscape, including applications, integrations, data and processes. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, process-focused and experienced in product governance, change management and delivery within complex, multi-country IT environments.

As the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert for the domain this role drives standardisation and continuous improvement across end-to-end processes. It is accountable for product outcomes, including value, adoption and user experience, while ensuring strong governance across process integrity, data quality, integrations, security and supportability. It delivers measurable value, aligns stakeholders and balances pace of change with operational stability and risk control.

What you will be doing

  • Define and own product vision, strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes aligned to business priorities
  • Shape demand with stakeholders; build business cases and translate requirements into prioritised backlogs and user stories
  • Develop and maintain clear, approved business requirements (scope, processes, risks, dependencies, benefits and acceptance criteria)
  • Own end-to-end solution design across applications, integrations and data, ensuring alignment to architecture, security and compliance standards
  • Lead delivery across the full lifecycle (discovery to deployment), managing dependencies and risk
  • Ensure release and operational readiness, including governance, cutover and handover to support teams
  • Drive quality through testing strategy, UAT, defect management and compliance with controls and data standards. Alongside adoption and benefits realisation through stakeholder engagement, training and performance tracking.
  • Act as domain SME, improving processes (e.g. lead-to-order, quoting, pricing, order management) and leveraging tools such as SOFON, Siebel, Dynamics and Xait
  • Manage vendors and partners, ensuring service performance and roadmap alignment
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making
  • Champion continuous improvement through metrics, feedback and regular product updates.
  • Roadmap delivery, ensure clear evidence of prioritised roadmap execution with measurable business value (e.g., cycle time improvements, conversion uplift, compliance and control effectiveness).
  • Solution quality and stability, ensure releases meet defined acceptance criteria, with reduced defects, controlled risk and effective operational handover/support readiness.
  • Drive delivery performance, ensure milestones and timelines are achieved
  • Manage budget and vendor performance, ensuring dependencies and risks actively tracked and mitigated.

You will ideally have

  • Ideally candidates will be educated to at least degree level or equivalent professional qualification or hold relevant previous experience in a similar role.
  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated product and/or solution ownership capability (vision, roadmap, backlog prioritisation, benefits realisation and stakeholder management). In addition to strong knowledge of business processes and supporting applications (e.g., SOFON, Siebel, Microsoft Dynamics, Xait, CRM/SFA, quoting, proposals, pricing and order creation) in a multi-country environment.
  • Ideally candidates will have proven knowledge of delivery methods and governance (Agile/Waterfall, SDLC, release management, change management) and how to apply them pragmatically. Plus, an awareness of continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management is essential to this role, candidates will ideally have the ability to align business, IT and vendor stakeholders, facilitate decisions, and manage competing priorities transparently.
  • Successful candidates will have a proven background of product & solution governance: ability to define standards, manage scope, maintain documentation, and ensure operational readiness with Application Support. Alongside solution design capability and experience, able to interpret business needs and high-level designs into detailed functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for build/configuration.
  • Preferably candidates will have a commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to build value cases, define metrics, analyse data and translate insights into prioritised action.
  • You will be an excellent communicator, able to communicate and influence clearly across functions/cultures with both technical and non-technical audiences. Plus, fluency in English both spoken and written is essential for this role, with any further European language skills (French, Spanish or German) is useful but not essential.
