Global Content Manager
Salary: £50-70k +25% bonus +equity
Location: London Office near Aldgate East
Working arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in office, Tues, Wed & Thurs
Muzz is the largest Muslim marriage app in the world, matching over 800k marriages since launching over 10 years ago. The company has over 170 employees, and 40+ marketers across the globe and is headquartered in London.
We are looking to raise our content and brand storytelling game to the next level. Up to this point we’ve done a great job of building brand awareness through social content but it’s time to step up our game so we are looking for a Global Content Manager to elevate our brand storytelling efforts across our major countries.

- You can elevate our brand presence to the quality and level it needs to be to match the global brand that we are.
- You are confident coaching, inspiring and directing people across many (14) different countries and helping them execute content at the highest level, whilst remaining relevant to their local culture.
- A strong understanding of the Muslim culture is a bonus but not a requirement for the role, it’s all about the craft.
- You understand the machinery and algorithms of major social networks and can help us maximise our content distribution strategy.
- You can produce a long term brand storytelling strategy that helps us get closer to our brand north star.
- You are comfortable using data to measure the effectiveness and overall improvement.
- You are a solid planner, leading a future looking global content calendar
- You are from a consumer background and, in particular, have experience with consumer-focused / lifestyle apps or tech start-ups.
- You are an excellent communicator and are comfortable engaging teams across functions, and across time zones.
- You are results oriented and thrive in an environment that has well-defined KPIs and ambitious targets and rewards people for hitting those targets.
Requirements
- 5+ years of consumer brand content experience, a big plus if that experience is within a consumer app or tech startup.
- A proven track record as a world class, dynamic content creator.
- A highly creative professional, able to create impactful, brand-forward content across all content types and social platforms.
- A strong grasp of data, tracking and analytics, with an ability to measure all content efforts
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and has the ability to work to tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short term needs with long term strategic initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with excellent communication, management and interpersonal skills.
- A solid understanding of the Muslim culture and how to position Muzz as a leading brand amongst younger Muslims is a strong bonus.
