About the Role

Are you a recent Statistics graduate looking to launch your career in data analytics, business intelligence, research, or statistical modelling? We are seeking a motivated and analytical Graduate Statistician to join our growing team. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for graduates who enjoy working with data, identifying trends, and applying statistical techniques to solve real-world business problems.

No prior professional experience is required. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided to help you develop practical expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets from multiple sources.
  • Apply statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
  • Assist in designing, conducting, and interpreting statistical studies.
  • Support predictive modelling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical reporting.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualisations for stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating analytical models to improve business performance.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and quality across reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics and research projects.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical findings.
  • Present statistical insights in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Stay updated with emerging statistical techniques and analytical tools.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Recent graduate
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of probability, hypothesis testing, regression, and sampling techniques.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for learning new analytical tools and technologies.


Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, R, SPSS, SAS, or MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of statistical modelling and predictive analytics.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and data visualization techniques.
  • Academic projects involving statistical analysis, research, or machine learning are beneficial but not required.
