Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Grill Chef role based in Liverpool. The Grill Chef will prepare and cook grilled dishes to company standards, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the grill station, managing cooking times and temperatures, and following food safety and hygiene practices at all times. The role involves working closely with the kitchen team to support smooth service, managing stock and prep for the grill area, and minimizing waste. The Grill Chef will also help with menu execution, support new dish rollouts, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe kitchen culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Grill Chef, Line Cook, or similar back-of-house role in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of grilling techniques, meat and seafood cooking temperatures, and food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple orders, and maintain high standards during peak service times.
  • Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Good organizational skills, including station setup, stock rotation, and adherence to cleaning schedules.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue’s trading hours.
  • A food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one; relevant culinary training or qualifications are an advantage.
  • Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and providing memorable guest experiences in a high-energy environment.
