Growth Marketing Manager

United Kingdom Full-time Posted 2 weeks ago

Homefans is the global marketplace making match-day and sports experiences unforgettable. From immersive football weekends to local host-led stadium tours and cultural add-ons, we believe sports is more than 90 minutes: it’s a full experience. We’re building the world’s leading platform for authentic fan-driven sports experiences.

We’re a fast-growing, passionate team at the intersection of sport, technology, and fan culture. This is an early-stage, high-impact role where you’ll shape the marketing function from the ground up.

Role Overview

We’re looking for our a dedicated full-time marketer: a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager who can own the end-to-end B2C funnel and drive bookings on the Homefans platform. You’ll report directly to the founders and have real autonomy to build, test, and scale what works.

This is not a brand-only or content-only role. You’ll be equally comfortable pulling CRM reports, launching a retargeting campaign, and writing copy for a reactivation email often in the same week. You will manage a group of specialists in different areas in marketing and will be able to grow the area to your needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the B2C booking funnel from awareness through conversion and retention
  • Build and run CRM & lifecycle marketing: reactivation campaigns, win-back flows, loyalty nudges
  • Manage paid performance channels (Meta, Google, TikTok) to drive efficient booking volume
  • Grow and engage our social media presence with compelling content tied to the sports calendar
  • Analyse funnel data weekly, identify drop-off points, and run structured A/B tests to improve conversion
  • Manage specialists for different marketing channels
  • Collaborate with founders and the team on seasonal strategy — planning around the sports calendar and managing low-season demand

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3–5 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in a consumer marketplace, ticketing, experiences, or sports platform
  • Proven track record of driving B2C growth: you can point to campaigns or programmes you built that moved the needle
  • Fluent in CRM tools (e.g. Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot) and comfortable setting up automated flows from scratch
  • Comfortable running paid media campaigns with real budget ownership and ROAS accountability
  • Data-first mindset: you use analytics to inform decisions, not to justify them after the fact
  • A strong writer and communicator: you can craft copy that converts, not just looks nice
  • A self-starter who thrives without a big team around them; you build the playbook, not follow one
  • Passionate about sports or fan culture — genuine affinity for what Homefans does is a big plus

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience working at a marketplace is a plus
  • Experience with SEO or content-led organic growth strategies
  • Familiarity with fan communities, supporter groups, or club partner ecosystems
  • Experience working in an early-stage or scale-up environment

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A pivotal, high-ownership role at a company on a meaningful mission in sport
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus tied to booking growth
  • Equity options: be part of building something from the early days
  • Remote-first working with flexibility around your schedule
  • Access to Homefans experiences: you’ll use the product and know it inside out
  • Direct line to the founders with real strategic input from day one
