Who are we?

Founded in 2014, Oxa is a global leader in autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, dedicated to accelerating Industrial Mobile Autonomy (IMA).

We develop advanced physical AI and robotics technology, anchored around our configurable and explainable self-driving software, Oxa Driver; development toolchain, Oxa Foundry; and fleet management software, Oxa Hub. We utilise hardware blueprints known as Reference Autonomy Designs (RADs) to enable the integration of sensors, compute and drive-by-wire systems into existing vehicles produced by OEMs.

Our solutions automate repetitive industrial driving tasks, such as the towing and carrying of goods in locations like ports, airports and manufacturing facilities, or asset and perimeter monitoring in environments such as solar farms or industrial plants. We’re helping global businesses to address critical challenges like labour shortages and rising operational costs - driving efficiency, productivity, and safety.

Based in Oxford, and with offices in Canada, our engineering team is drawn from the world’s top physical AI specialists and led by originators of the field.

Your Role:

Our Head of Property and Workplace Solutions is tasked with the comprehensive oversight of property and facilities management across various international regions. This pivotal role involves strategic leadership, ensuring adherence to global standards, and optimising facility operations to align with organisational objectives. The manager will directly oversee, providing essential guidance and support to enhance their performance and operational efficiency.

**This is opportunity is for an initial 12 month period with onsite presence at our Oxford Headquarters at least 3 days per week**

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Development: Support with the implementation of the global property and facilities management strategy.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the facilities teams.
• Policy and Standards Compliance: Establish and ensure adherence to global policies, procedures, and standards related to property management and facilities operations and Occupational health and safety.
• Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regular assessments of regional facilities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Oversee the management and collaboration of any external audits and accreditations within the Workplace Solutions team.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership to align facilities strategies with corporate goals, including sustainability initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate effective facility operations.
• Reporting: Prepare and present strategic reports to executive management on the performance of property and facilities management on a global scale.
• Project management: Management of business wide projects involving potential relocations, site openings and fit out works.

What you need to succeed:

• Proven experience in property and facilities management at a strategic level.
• Proven experience in move management, fit out works and project management. Training to level PRINCE2 desired.
• Strong background in budget management, cost-saving initiatives, and resource allocation.
• Experience in managing regulatory compliance, health and safety, and environmental standards across multiple regions.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, including vendor relationships, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience preparing strategic reports for executive management.
