Job Description

Join Elizabeth School of London Limited as a Health and Social Care Lecturer and become a key influencer in the advancement of higher education. As an integral part of our vibrant team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering programs in Health and Social Care in collaboration with esteemed university partners.


Job Purpose

The appointed individual will join the progressive team at Elizabeth School of London Limited and contribute to the delivery of various full-time programs, including Foundation year and full-degree courses. These programs are developed in partnership with renowned institutions such as St. Mary's University Twickenham London, and other Higher Education partners.


Responsibilities

Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Higher Education setting, with a focus on Foundation year in Health and Social

  • Care.Tutor students, offering tailored support to help them achieve their academic goals and progress positi
  • vely.Contribute actively to the development and continual improvement of courses, collaborating effectively with both staff and stud
  • ents.Participate in the creation of module/unit-specific Scheme of
  • Work.Develop module materials for each of the modules being undert
  • aken.Provide/Deliver/Facilitate subject-specific sessions in line with the Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of mod
  • ules.Deploy assessments appropriately as outlined by the assessment
  • team.Establish measures to understand the learning needs of students on their mod
  • ules.Support students with timely formative feedback as prescribed by each of the program specificat
  • ions.Mark and provide summative feedback within the prescribed deadline set by the Assessment
  • Team.Ensure compliance with the expectations of the Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities under which modules are being ta
  • ught.Produce appropriate module/unit rep
  • orts.Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students from diverse backgro
  • unds.Contribute to the School’s Research Department in the Holborn campus.


Essential Requirements


  • Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevan
  • t area.Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHE
  • A, etc.Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at the Higher Education
  • level.Proficiency in utilizing Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.
