Hedge Fund Investment Specialist
Investment Professional – Hedge Funds | London, Zurich
A leading global alternatives investment firm is looking to hire an Investment Professional to join its Hedge Funds team in London.
This is a client-facing investment role, sitting at the intersection of hedge fund research, portfolio construction and institutional client engagement.
The successful candidate will act as a Hedge Funds investment representative to institutional clients and prospects, translating investment views, portfolio positioning, manager analysis and market developments into clear, actionable discussions.
Key responsibilities:
- Represent the Hedge Funds team in meetings with institutional investors and prospects
- Bridge the gap between hedge fund research and portfolio management teams and clients
- Discuss portfolio construction, performance, positioning, risk and market views
- Support client presentations, portfolio reviews and market updates
- Partner with business development and client-facing teams on fundraising and marketing initiatives
- Work closely with internal teams across operations, risk, legal and accounting
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years' relevant investment experience with meaningful hedge fund exposure
- Background in hedge fund research, investing, allocation, institutional client coverage or a related buy-side/sell-side role
- Client facing experience with institutions is a big plus
- Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, portfolio construction and risk
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior institutional investors
- Ability to translate complex investment analysis into clear client-facing content
- Strong commercial judgement and professional maturity
