Antiverse are an AI-driven biotech in Cardiff that is scaling quickly and now looking for someone to take ownership of their people function. You will be joining at a point where there is real opportunity to shape how the company operates as it grows, working closely with leadership and having a direct impact on culture, structure and team development.


This is a broad HR generalist role with full ownership across the employee lifecycle. You will:

  • Manage HR operations, compliance and policies
  • Support hiring and onboarding
  • Partner with managers on performance and development
  • Handle employee relations and day-to-day HR support
  • Own HR systems and people data
  • Build scalable processes as the business grows
  • Support the Cardiff office on-site


What they are looking for

  • 3–7+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist
  • Strong experience across the full employee lifecycle, including HR operations, employee relations and recruitment support
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law and compliance
  • Comfortable being hands-on in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Confident working directly with leadership and senior stakeholders
  • Experience using HR systems such as HiBob, BambooHR, Rippling or similar
  • Able to work full-time on-site in Cardiff


Nice to have

  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Exposure to biotech, tech or scientific organisations
  • Experience building HR processes from scratch
  • Experience supporting high-growth hiring
