HR Manager (Bilingual English & Mandarin)

Madein+ is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in London.

This role will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting managers and employees while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations across the business.

As we work closely with both UK and Chinese-speaking clients and team members, fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes
  • Screen candidates and conduct HR interviews
  • Coordinate hiring and onboarding activities

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Conduct Right to Work checks and coordinate employment documentation

Performance & Employee Relations

  • Coordinate probation and performance review processes
  • Support managers with employee relations matters
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures where required

HR Operations

  • Ensure HR processes comply with UK employment regulations
  • Support HR policy implementation and process improvement
  • Work closely with management, legal, and finance teams on HR-related matters


Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of HR experience in the UK
  • Experience managing recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of UK employment practices
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment


Desirable

  • CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD
  • Experience within an agency, media, marketing, or SME environment

Salary: £38,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
