Workday HCM & Financials Specialists (Consultant to Lead Level)

Location: Hybrid (UK – Swindon, Stockton, Newport)

Type: Permanent


Overview

We are seeking experienced Workday professionals across HCM and Financials to support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing support of enterprise-scale ERP solutions within a complex shared services environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, and support Workday HCM and/or Financials modules
  • Translate business requirements into functional designs and system solutions
  • Support testing, release cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and enhancements in line with SLAs
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver effective and scalable solutions
  • For senior roles: provide technical leadership, governance, and mentoring


Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with Workday HCM or Workday Financials
  • Strong understanding of HR or Finance processes within complex organisations
  • Experience in configuration, implementation, or support environments
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Experience working within Agile or structured delivery frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills


Desirable

  • Workday certifications
  • Experience in public sector, government, or shared services environments
  • Exposure to ERP transformation programmes or other platforms (e.g. Oracle)
