Hybrid Project Manager/Business Analyst - Private Assets
A leading asset management firm is seeking a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst to join their London team on an initial 6-month contract. The role will support the delivery of key strategic initiatives, with an initial focus on the launch of a new Investor Portal. Proven Private Markets experience is essential.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Investment, Operations, Technology, Legal, and external partners, playing a key role in shaping and delivering a critical client-facing platform alongside broader transformation activity. The role offers strong exposure to senior decision-making forums and end-to-end programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of strategic initiatives, including the Investor Portal programme
- Own end-to-end project governance, including planning, RAID management, reporting, and controls
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support steering committees and decision-making forums
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external vendors to ensure aligned execution
- Manage key risks, issues, dependencies, and associated delivery tracking (including financials)
- Capture and structure business requirements, supporting target operating model design
- Facilitate workshops across investor onboarding and related client lifecycle processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager and Business Analyst within private assets or alternatives
- Strong understanding of investor onboarding and client lifecycle management in asset management
- Experience delivering client-facing platforms or portal-based transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management experience with exposure to senior governance forums
- Ability to operate effectively across complex, multi-workstream programmes in regulated environments
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with attention to detail
