IAM Business Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Senior IAM Business Analyst to join a high-performing team delivering strategic Identity and Access Management initiatives across complex enterprise environments.
This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and access governance, who can work confidently across business, technical, risk, and compliance teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional IAM requirements
- Lead workshops with stakeholders, application owners, and technical teams
- Support application onboarding into IAM platforms such as SailPoint
- Drive improvements across Joiner-Mover-Leaver, access requests, certifications, and role management
- Define and support RBAC, entitlement models, and Segregation of Duties controls
- Produce clear documentation including process flows, SOPs, and governance artefacts
- Partner with security, audit, and compliance teams to ensure audit-ready IAM controls
- Act as the link between business needs and technical IAM delivery
Required experience:
- Proven experience in a senior IAM Business Analyst or similar IAM governance role
- Strong knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ and broader IAM/IGA processes
- Experience with JML processes, certification campaigns, access requests, SoD, and RBAC
- Understanding of PAM and tools such as CyberArk, Delinea Secret Server, or similar
- Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, energy, or the public sector
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS, and data protection standards
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
Desirable:
- Experience with IAM integrations using REST APIs, Active Directory, Azure AD, JDBC, flat file, or mainframe connectors
- Familiarity with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
