Immigration Associate

A Y & J Solicitors is a Legal 500-recognised boutique immigration law firm based in the City of London. 

We specialise in complex UK immigration matters for both businesses and private clients — and we’re 

growing.

We are looking for an Immigration Associate ready to step up from a paralegal-level role and take real 

ownership of client work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a varied caseload across: 

o Sponsor licences & Skilled Worker visas 

• Spouse/partner visas, ILR & Naturalisation 

• Liaising directly with clients and providing strategic advice 

• Supporting corporate compliance work and audits (including client site visits) 

• Preparing high-quality applications and legal representations 

• Contributing to blogs, marketing, and firm growth 

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in UK immigration (paralegal or similar level) 

• Strong understanding of both business and private immigration 

• Confident communicator with clients 

• Detail-driven, organised, and proactive 

• Ambitious and commercially aware
