The Job

As part of our continuing growth, we are seeking to recruit an Implementation Consultant with strong Data Migration experience to join Procentia.

The purpose of this role is to lead and support the planning, preparation and migration of client data from legacy systems into the IntelliPen suite of products. This includes data mapping, transformation logic, migration scripting, data cleansing, reconciliation, validation and supporting clients through data readiness activities.

To be successful, you should be proficient in T-SQL and XML, comfortable working with complex data sets, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues across Professional Services, Product and Technology.

Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL-based data solutions to support data migration and reporting needs.
  • Develop data migration plans and processes, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services and data integrity.
  • Perform ETL operations to migrate data between systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with other team members to gather data requirements and design solutions that meet project and company goals.
  • Monitor and improve database performance, managing indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy standards, proactively managing risks associated with data migration.
  • Communicate with clients throughout the data migration lifecycle to clarify requirements, resolve queries, obtain feedback and support sign-off.
  • Develop and maintain migration specifications, mapping documentation, reconciliation outputs and supporting evidence for internal and client review.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing data migration solutions, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliations and validation
  • Strong understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and normalisation
  • Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and practices, with experience in relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimise queries and database structures for improved performance and resource management.
  • Proven experience in large-scale data migration projects, preferably within the pensions or financial services industry. Skilled in ETL processes, data cleansing, and mapping strategies. Experience in implementing software systems
