Salary Grade H Points 25 to 28 (£36,363 to £39,152 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £31,696.11.

Melior Community Academy are looking to appoint an Inclusion Co-Ordinator and DDSL to join our academy in September 2026 on a full time, permanent basis.

Your new role

As the Inclusion Co-ordinator and Deputy DSL, you will promote a learning environment which supports high expectations. You will lead the Inclusion team ensuring that student learning and achievement needs are met, whilst contributing to and ensuring the effectiveness of the Inclusion team. You will model the vision and values of the academy and the Trust and receive and act on feedback to build on the strengths and improve personal performance within the academy systems. You will communicate clear purpose and vision to the Inclusion team, leading on all aspects of inclusion. You will always promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people. You will also support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in the academy in your role as Deputy DSL.

Your new school

Melior Community Academy is a coeducational secondary school located in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. The Academy opened in January 2013 for students aged 11 to 16. We are a fully inclusive Academy with a distinctively warm ethos and continue to have the highest aspirations for, and expectations of, our students. The school has recently been rebuilt and facilities are excellent, located within easy commuting distance of the main urban areas this is a great place to work.
