About the Role
A leading international law firm is seeking an Employment lawyer to join its team on an interim basis for an initial 3-month period, covering a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious work. The successful candidate will pick up live matters quickly and work closely with the existing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Advise on disciplinary/grievance processes, restructurings, redundancies, and TUPE
- Draft and review contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Support Employment Tribunal litigation, including pleadings, witness statements, and hearing prep
- Advise on senior exits and restrictive covenants
- Liaise directly with clients
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales), c. 2–6 years PQE in Employment law (flexible)
- Strong contentious and non-contentious experience
- Background at a reputable City, national, or international firm
- Able to work autonomously and integrate quickly
- Immediately available or up to 2 weeks' notice
