About the Opportunity

We are seeking a strategically focused Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis to join a major UK international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. This is an interim contract designed to provide cover for 2-3 months until a permanent worker starts, and it comes with the unique option to apply for the permanent position. You will play a pivotal leadership role sitting at the heart of Group and Global Finance

Key Details

• Contract Length: 2-3 months interim cover.
• Day Rate (Interim): Up to £600 per day.
• Location: London – 3 days per week in the office.
• Permanent Salary Option: £80,331 - £93,173 including London Weighting.
• Permanent Role Closing Date: 7th June

Core Responsibilities:

• You will lead comprehensive Group management information and reporting.
• You will set the framework and core assumptions for planning and forecasting across the global organisation.
• You will oversee and continue to develop cash and balance sheet forecasting for the group and its subsidiaries.
• You will ensure accurate and timely reporting to key external stakeholders, including the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and manage compliance with all financial loan covenants.
• You will support the coordination and delivery of 5-year financial plans.

Candidate Requirements

• You are a fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience in relevant senior finance roles.
• You possess strong commercial finance experience gained in an organisation undergoing change and driving for growth.
• You have a proven track record of operating in complex, international, and multi-cultural organisations.
• You bring leadership experience in change projects and managing varied teams.
