The Role:

They are looking for a Java Software Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software and wants to work on some of the most interesting engineering problems in fintech.

You will join a talented engineering team responsible for designing and developing a highly distributed performance database, working on core systems that require exceptional throughput, scalability, and reliability.

This is an opportunity to work on challenging problems around distributed computing, data structures, performance optimisation, and large-scale backend systems — while collaborating with engineers who care deeply about clean code, great architecture, and continuous improvement.

You will be working in a modern engineering environment that embraces agile development, automated testing, open-source technologies, and strong software engineering principles. The team values curiosity, technical creativity, and developers who enjoy understanding how things work under the hood.

Essential Skills

• Hands on development using Java - Ideally experience working with Java 17 +
• Detail orientated developer with a passion for testing and high code quality
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM subject
• A good personality – team player with excellent communication skills!

No previous low latency or multithreading experience needed just an interest in doing it!!
