About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Junior Automation Developer to join our growing team at Anvil Analytical. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about low-code solutions, AI-enhanced workflows, and automation. You’ll contribute to internal and client-facing projects that streamline operations and deliver smart, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain low-code automation workflows using Copilot Agents, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Create Copilot agents using Copilot Studio, including prompt design, knowledge base integration, and output formatting.
  • Support the development of Python scripts for data processing, integration, and automation tasks.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clear, structured specifications for discussion, iteration, and approval.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to identify automation opportunities across business processes.
  • Document workflows, logic, and user guides for internal and client use.
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine interest in low-code platforms, automation, and AI tools.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of Python and willingness to learn more.
  • Ability to interpret and work with financial data, with a solid understanding of how accounts are structured and key accounting terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and prompt engineering.
  • Exposure to SharePoint and Dataverse.
  • Understanding of data flows, APIs, or JSON.
  • Interest in agent-based automation and conversational UX.
  • Ability to write clear, user-focused documentation and specifications.
