POAN - PEOPLES OF ALL NATIONS

Junior Client Advisor

Location: London, United Kingdom (Soho Square)

Function: Junior Client Advisor

Level: Junior (Part-Time)

Hours: Fridays & Saturdays (16 Hours Per Week)

Compensation: £13.50 per hour + 10% Monthly Commission + Uniform Allowance

The Role

POAN is looking for a motivated and commercially-driven Junior Client Advisor to join our Soho Square team. This role is designed for a professional who treats the business with a startup mindset and is excited by the prospect of growing a high-pedigree brand.

As a primary window to our client base, you will act as a personal lifestyle consultant, building long-term loyalty through sophisticated clienteling. While this is a part-time position, we are looking for a candidate who is confident, relationship-driven, and capable of generating meaningful sales activity through exceptional client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Clienteling: Communicate efficiently with the existing client list and proactively develop relationships to drive repeat business.

Client Acquisition: Leverage personal networks and industry relationships to introduce new clients to the brand and generate sales opportunities. Having an existing client book is highly advantageous.

Video Sales & Content: Curate collections and conduct virtual styling appointments via video and WhatsApp. You must be comfortable, articulate, and confident in front of a camera while explaining collections and styling recommendations to clients.

Aesthetic Brand Ambassador: Represent a brand that is "culturally present, aware, and curious"- appealing to an arts-involved audience (similar to Margiela or Dries Van Noten).

Retail Operations: Manage the daily requirements of the retail environment while maintaining an intellectual approach to client service and sales performance.

Creative Outlet: While the primary focus is sales, this role offers a creative outlet for those interested in providing input on aesthetics and design selections.

Requirements & Capabilities

Relevant Experience: A background in a premium or luxury environment (e.g., department stores or boutiques) where you have experience in client-facing sales.

Established Client Network: It would be beneficial to have an existing network of clients who could be introduced to the brand.

Sales Instinct: A natural drive for conversion combined with the patience required for long-term relationship building.

Communication: Must resonate with our specific client demographic and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Camera Confidence: Comfortable presenting products, explaining collections, and conducting video appointments with clients.

Technical Literacy: Proficient in Shopify, digital communication tools, and basic reporting for performance tracking.
