Kirkdale Studios, is an established and exciting startup focusing on collaborative furniture design. 

Kirkdale Studios has a long networking relationship with designers, architects, hospitality companies and works with approx. 380 EU and UK factories. Our business is B2B sales between our designers and our factories. 

Our products range from standard factory items to made-to-order bespoke products. With every design brief, it's our passion to help our clients  find the products that best suit their brief and it is in this process that our creative approach provides the value in our service.

Each member of the Kirkdale team has a background in design which allows us to specialise in design & build and furniture collaborations. Ideal Candidate


Has a passion for design (ideally furniture), innovative with entrepreneurial thinking, who is receptive to feedback and eager to learn the industry of interior and product design. The candidate will show confidence in their knowledge of technical drawings and modelling and be highly motivated to begin their career in design.

Create technical drawings, 3D rendering and Space Plans 

Imagery and rendering for Website

Imagery and design for social media

Imagery and rendering for marketing

Requirements


Degree or Masters in Product Design or equivalent 

Strong knowledge In 3D rendering and CAD blocks

Strong knowledge in Rhino, Solid Work or equivalent product design software

Familiar to furniture design and manufacturing

Familiar to manufacturing techniques  

Passion for Design

Strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Open to challenges

Eagerness to learn

Stage 2 - Video interview with our Director  

Stage 3 - Success candidate will be provided a start date and welcome package to Kirkdale Studios


Stage 1 - Task 


This stage has been set out to understand the applicants skills and knowledge in modelling and Cad design. 

It will also allow a conversation during Stage 2 and Stage 3 to understand the applicant's thought process during the creation of the drawing and further feedback of this task. 


Selecting 1 table from the below specifications / create and provide  technical drawings, including renders of either of the tables.
