🚀 Kubernetes Platform Tech Lead (Multi-Cloud)(Major UK Bank)

🔧 What you’ll be doing

• 🧱 Own and evolve a Managed Kubernetes Platform
• 👥 Lead engineers through technical challenges & decisions
• 🗣️ Act as the technical face of the platform (stakeholders + users)
• 📊 Support planning, estimation & delivery with the platform owner
• ⚙️ Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
• 🌍 Contribute to a multi-cloud strategy (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• 🔍 Handle platform queries, troubleshooting & improvements

✅ What we’re looking for

Core experience

• Strong Kubernetes across:
• GKE / EKS / AKS
• Solid Golang development(comfortable reviewing PRs & building tooling)
• Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• CI/CD pipeline ownership
• Observability:
• Prometheus / Grafana / ELK

💡 Ideal background

• Platform Engineer / DevOps / SRE stepping into leadership
• Experience owning or building internal platforms
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments

⭐ Big plus

• Built custom tooling (CLI, auth proxies, extensions)
• Worked in complex / enterprise environments
• Led engineers or mentored teams
