SUITABLE CANDIDATE

You enjoy analysing concrete problems, finding solutions and then setting them up.

Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you.

Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesizing and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments.

You have the ability to adapt to new technical problems. You know how to manage a small-sized team.

You like the idea of working on Projects and Quality matters to you.

You are a good team player.

THE ROLE

As an LDA Lead/Referential Lead, you will take part in the following activities:

  • Maintain an overview of the progress of the design and ensure decisions impacting the design are taken in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the design configuration management and consistency within engineering activities.
  • Ensure that all engineering entities are able to demonstrate the implementation of the relevant requirements, in particular those linked to the Safety Case.
  • Deliver the Plant Integration Services.

You will take part in the implementation of the different Configuration Management processes, including the project’s replication processes for the Client and the monitoring of the Design Performance Objectives as validated with the Client Organisation.

The goal of the replication is to maximise reuse of the design with a strong justification that it meets site specific conditions, whilst controlling the replication baseline that may evolve. It is also to ensure that equipment is also replicated. The goal of Configuration Management is to ensure a tight control of the baseline, from its requirements to the physical product passing by its design that is inherited and replicated, and modified to comply with site specific conditions or changes within the supply chain.

As an LDA Engineer (stands for “Liste des Documents Applicables” in French), you will provide a common database of documents that are applicable to the project and contribute to the overall delivery of the project. The cost and schedule impacts of evolutions to this Project are required to be thoroughly assessed and managed through robust change control, enabling the project to be delivered to quality, cost and schedule.

As an LDA Lead, you will be responsible for the operational aspects necessary to ensure that the LDA process is run effectively. You will also be responsible for producing the yearly LDA.

To ensure the appropriate management of the Project LDA, you will interface closely with the configuration team, under the supervision of the Configuration Manager.

Your main objectives will be the following:

  • Ensure that the processes are fit for use and rightly implemented by all Project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that requests for evolution to the Project LDA or exemptions to the Project LDA are appropriately managed, and that topics will be mature and ready when the No Change Committee endorsement is sought.
  • Support Referential Evolution requesters as per the above objectives.
  • Manage the replication of the LDA Project and act as the Referential Evolution Requester for this activity.
  • Prepare and deliver trainings on the LDA related processes.
  • Maintain a live LDA register, recording all the No Change Committee decisions.
  • Issue a formal yearly Project LDA document.

Your main external interfaces will be the following: Technical Directorate Engineering Integration, Plant Integration, Programmes, Design Authority.

During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge and experience of Technical Integration (architecture, configuration management and associated processes and tools).
  • Ability to handle multiple interfaces and coordinate stakeholders' activities within multiple entities.
  • Organisational skills, capability to meet commitments and deadlines.
