As a Lead Integration and Cloud Solution Architect, you'll lead the design of major cross-domain solutions, shape our integration and cloud strategy, and create reusable patterns that enable secure, scalable delivery. You'll make a visible impact, influence platform evolution and help shape what comes next.

How you’ll make an impact:

✅ Take ownership of major, cross-domain end-to-end solution designs that meet current and future business needs

✅ Lead complex integration and cloud designs, ensuring alignment with agreed functional and non-functional requirements

✅ Shape architecture strategy, standards and reusable patterns across Azure, AWS and MuleSoft

✅ Improve API reuse, platform consistency, resilience, security and scalability while reducing duplicated integrations

✅ Work across architecture, engineering, product and delivery teams to turn requirements into high-level designs

✅ Coach and mentor colleagues, strengthening architecture and engineering capability through knowledge sharing

You'll work closely with enterprise and domain architects, product owners, technical leads, business analysts, engineering teams, platform specialists and operational teams, seeing how your work contributes to secure, resilient services and better customer and colleague experiences.

☁️ Cloud Platforms - Microsoft Azure, AWS, hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments.

🔗 Integration Platforms - MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity and enterprise integration services.

⚙️ Modern Architecture - REST, SOAP, GraphQL, event-driven architecture and reusable integration patterns.

🔒 Security and Delivery - OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Mutual TLS, Kubernetes concepts, CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Essential experience

• Significant experience as a Solution Architect, Integration Architect or Cloud Architect.
• Proven delivery of large-scale enterprise integration and complex end-to-end technology solutions.
• Deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, REST, SOAP, GraphQL and event-driven architecture.
• Strong Microsoft Azure and AWS architecture experience, including hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of API security, architecture governance, resilience, cloud networking, identity and observability.

Useful, but not essential

• TOGAF, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• Experience within banking or financial services.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft Composer or Snowflake.
