Learning & Development Co-ordinator (Mental Health & Supported Housing)- £30,090.11 per annum, rising to £30,992.81 after successful completion of probation- South East London

As our Learning & Development Co-ordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting colleagues across the organisation to deliver safe, effective and person-centred services.


This is a varied and rewarding position where you'll work closely with managers, operational teams and subject matter experts to coordinate engaging learning programmes that help staff grow professionally and deliver outstanding support to the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mandatory, specialist, and professional development training programmes
  • Identify learning needs across services and help develop practical training solutions
  • Support managers to embed learning into day-to-day practice
  • Coordinate Train the Trainer programmes and support internal trainers
  • Monitor training compliance and maintain accurate learning records
  • Analyse training data, feedback, audits, and service information to identify improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives and make recommendations for future development
  • Build positive relationships with managers, colleagues, and external training providers
  • Provide guidance and coaching to support workforce development

The Person

  • Experience coordinating learning and development, training, workforce development, or quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience delivering training with a proven track record
  • A recognised qualification relevant to learning and development
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience maintaining records, monitoring compliance, and analysing data
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and database systems
  • An understanding of mental health, homelessness, substance misuse, or related support environments
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with people at all levels


Experience within mental health, supported housing, social care, healthcare, or similar settings would be highly beneficial.
