Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lettings Negotiator role based in Greater London, offering a £25k basic salary with OTE up to £55k. The Lettings Negotiator will handle enquiries from prospective tenants, conduct property viewings, and provide clear, accurate information on available listings. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with landlords and tenants, negotiating offers, and progressing lets through to move-in.
The role involves coordinating the marketing of properties, updating listings, and working closely with the property management team to ensure a smooth experience for all parties. The Lettings Negotiator will be expected to maintain detailed records in CRM systems, prioritise excellent customer service, and uphold CHBL’s brand standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of landlord/tenant matters, including tenancy processes and relevant best practices.
- Experience working within an estate agency environment, ideally in lettings or residential property.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations.
- Knowledge of property management principles and coordination of maintenance or tenancy-related issues.
- Proven customer service skills, with a client-focused approach and a commitment to high-quality service.
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with Greater London residential markets and local transport links is advantageous.
- Proficiency with basic office software and CRM systems; ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport are beneficial but not strictly required, depending on the coverage area.
- Previous experience in luxury or high-end property and relevant industry qualifications (e.g., ARLA or equivalent) are a plus.
