Management Accountant (12 month FTC)

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving business performance.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll provide insightful analysis and ensure robust financial controls, helping the business achieve its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Deliver financial reporting and insights to senior stakeholders
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends and risks
  • Assist with year-end processes and audit requirements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
  • Business partner across departments to support decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems

Your Experience

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Experience using finance systems and Excel for analysis and reporting

  • Confident communicator, able to work with non-finance stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
