Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer role at Lattimer Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Southport. The Manufacturing Engineer will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for glass engineering and IS variable equipment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial Engineering, with the ability to improve production systems and workflows.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles applied to product design, tooling, and equipment reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Processes, including process optimization, quality control, and safety standards.
• Practical skills in Machining and related metalworking operations, preferably in a precision engineering or glass industry environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and basic CAM or CNC, FANUC, MAZATROL programming tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively on-site in a production environment.
