The Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences is one of the largest in the UK and provides world class innovative patient care across 11 hospital sites in Greater Manchester.
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen within MCCN working for some of the most inspirational consultants in the NHS based at Salford Royal Hospital.
1 x 37.5 hours (based at Wythenshawe hospital)
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with relevant experience to join our high performing and successful team providing Neurology services to Greater Manchester patients.
The post will provide you with an exciting challenge and give you the opportunity to play a key-supporting role in a rapidly growing service which currently serves a population of 3.2 million.
MCCN is committed to supporting and developing it's team during this exciting time of service transformation, and has a track record of developing medical secretaries into more senior operational roles.

You must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
You will be able to organise and prioritise your own workload and balance this with the demands of a busy, diverse and varied role.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, RSA II or equivalent typing, excellent audio typing skills, waiting list management, medical terminology, proven organisational skills, 18 week (RTT) standards and a strong commitment to personal and professional development is desired.
