You will be part of a team that provides a high quality, patient focused medicines management service to the wards. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including doctors, nurses and liaising with colleagues within primary care.
Responsibilities
Medication histories, tailored patient consultations. Supporting timely medicines reconciliation & medicine adherence assessments, support flow, social and community enablement.
Support reduction in medicines wastage & carbon footprint, reduction in missed, delayed and omitted doses. Labelling, dispensing and checking duties within our highly valued Satellite Pharmacy and within the main dispensary when required.
Contribution to Service improvement projects and CIPS (Cost improvement Programmes).
The post holder will also be given the opportunity to contribute to Service improvement projects and CIPS (Cost improvement Programmes).
Within our Trust all Band 4 technicians are supported to complete our in‑house educational, training and development plan, which will equip staff with the skills, behaviours and knowledge's in preparation for future pharmacy career progression.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services certificate or equivalent.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Accredited Checking Qualification (ACPT) or near completion of the course.
Applicants must also have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, be adaptable, work under pressure, problem solve, possess a patient‑centred attitude and be motivated to strive for continued improvement.
