As an Advanced MRI Radiographer, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality diagnostic service across our modern MRI facilities – including two Siemens 1.5T scanners at the main hospital site and a GE 1.5T Voyager at our Community Diagnostic Centre. With a new state-of-the-art Imaging Scanning Centre opening in 2026, this is an exciting time to be part of our growing service.

You’ll carry out a wide range of MRI examinations, including neuro, musculoskeletal, angiography, and dynamic studies, while ensuring the highest clinical standards and excellent patient care. The role also includes participation in the on-call rota for spinal emergencies.

As a medium sized general hospital, we provide a full range of general medical and surgical services, including a busy Emergency Department, Maternity, and Paediatrics. Our services also include neonatology, specialist surgical care, and a wide range of diagnostics, supported by the new Community Diagnostic Centre at Whitehouse Health Centre.

Further investment is underway, including the construction of Oak Wards – a new ward block featuring two 24-bed wards – and the recently approved Women and Children’s Centre, set to open by 2030.
