We are seeking a motivated and compassionate NHS Locum Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Adult Community Mental Health Team within the Gray's Community Mental Health . This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary service delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults with complex mental health needs.

Main duties of the job

This is a full time NHS Locum Consultant post for general adult community mental health services covering the Thurrock area.This post has become available after the move of the previous post holder.

This post is based at Grays Hall Community Mental Health Unit.

This post provides community services for patients referred to the secondary mental health services from GP surgeries within 2 PCN areas of Grays and ASOP – see details above.The Thurrock team has 2 consultants with the second consultant looking after patients from the remaining 2 PCN in the Thurrock area. There are additional consultant sessions into the PCN. The total population covered by the 4 PCNs is approximately 175000.
