- We have an exciting opportunity to join our oncology team as Clinical Nurse Specialist for Oncology Lung Cancer. This a newly created, fixed term position for 12 months. Secondment opportunities will be considered.
- As the CNS for Oncology Lung Cancer, you will be responsible in the provision of expert, coordinated and holistic support for adults from diagnosis, treatment and living beyond cancer.
- The clinical nurse specialist will be a core member of the multi-disciplinary team in providing optimum quality care to oncology lung patients throughout their care pathway including the overarching responsibility for the support of patients living with and beyond cancer.
- The post holder will provide specialist nursing advice, care and support to patients who undergoing oncological treatment for lung cancer and will have knowledge and skills to work autonomously in manging their caseload.
- The post holder will require leadership and management skills to deliver effective and efficient standards of care in the coordination of the service through their clinical expertise and knowledge.
