The department

The team has a strategic vision to continue to develop our profile and practice in this area.


We currently act for a number of household names and overseas inward investors into London real estate with a particular focus on investors from the Middle East and the Far East as well as for global corporate occupiers.


We have existing strengths in the following: Prime London commercial property portfolio work, acting for UHNWs and Family Offices; advising global corporate occupiers on their occupational real estate matters, Hotel Restaurant and Leisure clients, Development and PCL residential work.


The opportunity

The role provides substantial experience in a wide variety of commercial real estate work including property investment, corporate occupier, development work, corporate support, property disputes and construction work and some high value Prime Central London residential acquisition and structuring work in a busy but friendly team.


Responsibilities

The role will primarily involve:

  • document management, review and analysis and providing transaction management support;
  • preparing Land Registry applications and SDLT Returns;
  • assisting with preparation of legal packs or data rooms;
  • small-scale drafting and amending of documents;
  • preparing attachments and otherwise assisting in finalising reports;
  • researching points of law and drafting advisory notes for fee earners;
  • maintaining deeds and records;
  • working alongside other departments or within sectors of the firm on a variety of inter-departmental projects.


Personal attributes and skills

A successful candidate will have:

a qualifying law degree

a legal qualification such as Law Degree GDL or LPC,

experience working with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and pdfDocs

Minimum 2 years of RE paralegal experience
