The Patient Care Advisor serves as the first point of contact for patients and healthcare clients, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of customer service and administrative support. This role is essential in coordinating patient communications, managing service queries, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering patient-focused care. The Patient Care Advisor plays an essential role in the smooth day to day running of the pharmacy. Your day to day responsibilities include taking care of the patients by answering the phone and taking payment for medications, as well as resolving any queries, concerns and problems or referring them to an appropriately qualified colleague as required. You will ensure the accurate and timely handling of all inbound prescriptions and sales of medications (compounded or prescription-only) and OTC supplements, to ensure patients and prescribers receive the right medications as fast as possible. We endeavour to deliver an outstanding experience for our patients, and you will ensure every patient receives first-class patient care and service throughout their journey.
