We are looking for a motivated and reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy Repackaging Unit. You will work as part of a supportive team of over 20 pharmacy assistants under the guidance of experienced Band 3 Assistants and Production Supervisors.

- Assisting with pharmaceutical repackaging and production activities

Main duties of the job
- To work in team of Twenty plus pharmacy assistants under the supervision of Band 3 assistants and Production Supervisors.
- To undertake a range of production duties under the management of the above, in a manner which ensures a quality service to customers.
- To be responsible for receipt and distribution of pharmaceuticals ensuring good stock control within the unit.
- To work in the Repackaging Unit under the direction of the Senior Pharmacy assistants and Production Supervisors.
- To pre-pack bulk pharmaceuticals into TTO packs, OPD packs and Ward packs for all customers of the unit.
- To work in ‘Clean room’ conditions, using appropriate packaging equipment and wearing appropriate clean room dress if required.

- Educated to GCSE or equivalent, to include English and Mathematics.
- NVQ 2 in pharmacy services.
